According to latest news John Galliano was not only removed from house of Dior hours after he was arrested, but also fired from his own label John Galliano to which LVMH corporation has rights. How is this even possible one may ask. Well, corporate world has decision making power if holds more shares than the founder can vote to remove the founder from working for a corporation. This is exactly what happened to Steve Jobs 20 years ago when despite being a founder of Apple he was fired from the position of CEO by the board.

LVMH move faces a number of unknown regarding the John Galliano brand. Clearly since scandalous designer is still alive and young he would have been expected to be inseparable part of the label not only on the trademark. Unlike in Apple, where technology is created by large teams of programmers and Steve Jobs at his time was really just an official face of the company, in fashion world brand is heavily connected to a designer.
