To become a leading designer one has to finish famous art school, do internship at the famous fashion house, get a lot of connections in the industry, then get a job at one of the leading design houses and work like a dog to stay afloat. If everything goes well one day lucky designer may be able to raise enough money to open his own fashion house. But what one doesn’t have to do to become a leading designer is to dress well.
